PopsLoader – 轉換PSP核心模式, 加強PSP對於PSOne游戲的支持. 此為最新版本, 並支持非官方固件版本CFW 5.50 GEN-A.

安裝:
1. 到下面下載文件, 把檔案解壓縮再放在記憶卡的seplugins文件夾裡.
2. 在seplugins文件夾裡新建POPS.txt再在txt文件裡鍵入: ms0:/SEPLUGINS/popsloader.prx
3. 下載Psardumper
4. 下載
5. 解壓縮4.01固件, 再把EBOOT.PBP放進記憶卡根路徑.
6. 用Psardumper來dump和decrypt 4.01
7. 把 ms0:/F0/kd/impose.prx 放進記憶卡的seplugins/popsloader 文件夾裡
8. 按你現有的固件系統版本, 下載你的固件版本.
9. 再利用Psardumper來dump和decrypt下載來的固件.
10. 把以下的更名:

• 3.00 – 3.03: pops.prx, popsman.prx, meaudio.prx, pafmini.prx
• 3.10 – 3.30: pops.prx, popsman.prx, pafmini.prx
• 3.40 – 4.01: pops.prx, popsman.prx, pafmini.prx, libpspvmc.prx

popsXXX.prx, popsmanXXX.prx (XXX為版本號碼, ie. pops310.prx), 以上範例的文件名也用這個方法更名.
11. 把已更名的文件放進記憶卡的ms0:/seplugins/popsloader裡.
12. 在Recovery復原模式中啟動PopsLoader.
13. 把PSXOne/PSX游戲放進記憶卡裡運行.

今天PSP 官方固件版本 5.0正式推出了, 有興趣的用家可自己從Network Update裡更新.

In this version, you’ll notice the addition of the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB. You can now sign up for PlayStation Network, manage your account and access PlayStation Store directly from your PSP — meaning you can download games directly to your PSP while connected via Wi-Fi.

不久前 Sony 發佈了 PSP 官方固件 4.00. 現在官方固件 4.01 已經推出 (用戶可到下面下載固件).

PSP 4.01 官方固件更新:
- 在網路搜索中, 修正了部份語言支援.

期待已久的 PSP 官方固件終於有消息了! 今天, Eric Lempel- PlayStation Network Operations Director 宣佈了一些有關 Sony PSP 官方固件 4.0 的資訊.

…v4.00, will be released soon, adding Google Internet search directly to the XMB (XrossMediaBar) interface.

This new upgrade replicates the Google Internet search experience, delivering the same search results that you’d get at www.google.com. And with a search history recall of 20 items, Web searches couldn’t be easier.

After you download and install the firmware on your PSP, click on the XMB’s Network icon and then the new Internet Search icon. Enter your keywords and then let Google’s algorithms do the work. You’ll need to be connected to the Internet via a wireless access point or Wi-Fi hotspot. Googling something on the go has never been more convenient on your PSP.

Another new feature delivered through the 4.00 update is the ability to change viewing speed during playback of videos stored on your Memory Stick PRO Duo, so you can speed through or slow down what you’re watching. To do this simply press the up or down directional buttons while playing a video.
